I own a 2001 Monte Carlo ss, the passing gear is extremely weak at all speeds, the tranny shifts great. ;What could my problem be.

Passing gear? Weak? Care to elaborate?

If you're asking about the normal TCC dump and downshift from OD or D whern accellerating to pass, what exactly is happening? Is it not dropping gears and TCC, or is there just no engine power?
