i have 98 and in park the enginge is makeing a weird sound and the rpms shoot way and sounds really bad not like normal and it sound like something majorly wrong and i dont what it is but the rpms do drop when i put it in drive

Welcome to AF. That type of vague description of an engine noise is impossible to diagnose without on site inspection. Way too many possibilities, get it to someone who can put an ear to it and offer some advice. Sorry.
