I really need help.

Ok. I still have the no start problem. I put in a new fuel pump, timing chain, crankshaft/camshaft sensor, plugs, wires. It just won't start. It has fuel pressure, compression, and spark. I also lined up the timing marks. It is a little slow at cranking for about 20 seconds then goes to normal cranking. The battery is also new and is fully charged. Can anybody help me. It's my only car and schools going to start soon and if I don't get this car fixed how will I get to school. Please help.

It would help greatly to know what year, engine, and fuel system we are discussing.

As Blue Bowtie requested, need the engine and year, every time you post! Second, do you have injector pulse, will it start spraying carb cleaner into the intake, why were all these parts replaced, lots of info missing here!!

It's an 89 century with a 3.3L engine. It won't start with the carb cleaner or starting fluid.

When/why did your car stop running? Why did you replace all of the above parts? Did you have a check engine light when the car was running?

How did you check for spark? Compression? Fuel PSI?

Have you pulled the plugs to check for fuel on them?

What year is your car? How many miles? Condition? What are the condition of the electrical connections?

Just an FYI... It's not good to run the starter for extended periods of time.

My car stoped running because the fuel pump went out. The car sat for a couple months. I always had a problems starting the car. I used to have to use starting fluid to start the car. The timing chain was changed because the timing was off on the chain. The check engine light used to be on before the problem but I fixed that. It was the maf sensor that was bad.

I used all the right tools for checking fuel, spark, compression. My car has really great compression. Try 120psi.

I have pulled the plugs and they smelled like gas. They were also a little wet to. They are brand new plugs too.

My car is a 1989 buick century custom. It has about 190,000 miles. The car is in good condition. All the wiring is great too.

I really need help. This is my only car.
