I thought I had an EJ8 but the maunal I'm using only lists; EK9, EK4, EK3, EG6, EG4, and EF9. I have a 98 civic EX which is an SOHC vtec, Is anyone of these mine?

its an EJ8, look at ur VIN number, its says something like 1HGEJ8....

Yeah, mine is definitely an EJ8, but what Im asking is are there any other names for it? The manual Im looking at only has the other vehicle codes.

Are you talking about you telling me that it should work fine? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it will work, I mean I have my own wiring diagrams but Im trying to make sure itll work before I get it. Its not the VAFC, Im talking about a rev/speed meter. Did you read my other post specifically for you. I want to know where you think I can mount the RSM in the dash or something. You said you know 6 places but I can only see the one where I put it in the passanger side dash but I dont want it there. Can you please point out another spot?
