Hoping I can get some help here . . a buddy's 1999 JGC Limited is having trouble w/ his Infinity system. Aside from what we think is just a blown tweeter, the lights on the Equalizer flash when you use the turn the signals and static (other than the blown tweeter) can be heard.

I did a search a few days ago and while I didn't find this exact issue, we got some ideas to try. Cleaned the battery terminals (battery less than a year old btw) and checked all the fuses . . . Nothing

None of the cars other electrical components seem to be affected . . its running great!

Am wondering if its just a short within the radio itself and if going aftermarket may remedy ? I think our next step may be switching the radio with another Infinity out of my BIL's car just temporarily to see if that fixes but before we do (and he travels a couple hours round trip to get here) I wanted to see if ya'll had any ideas. :banghead:

I was having trouble with mine and I cleaned the connectors under the rear seat, fixed everything, worth a shot.
