88 buick century no start but getting fuel and no spark what ?if u have any ideas please help! checked coil packs replaced them (2.8L 6cyl)all three had spare parts and still nothing not really sure if its getting power or ground gotta might be a electrical problem ANY IDEAS PLEASEEEEEE HELP:screwy: lol:banghead:

Getting fuel? Do the injectors pulse, do you have fuel pressure? If no injector pulse, check both bank injector fuses, if ok suspect crank sensor or wiring also the ecms were problematic on these cars, try tapping the ecm case firmly see if it starts, but start checking for injector pulse, coupled with no spark, cps is #1 suspect or wiring from it to the icm.

putting things back together bought the crank sensor hopefully it starts up thanks 4 the info

Check your module, under the coil packs. It provides spark up to 400 RPM, after that the computer takes over.

i put everything together and the car is running horrible i try to hit the gas and it doesnt want to accelerate correctly like its making a bad noise really ruff

Kinda vague description from here, wires all in the right place,to the p[lugs, any check engine lite?

checked wires no light is on starts up but its not running like it was before the crank sensor went out
