I have a Cool Start starter by www.crimestopper.com and it works great. I forget what model it is. I think it's tons better than my wife's Viper. It's seems the Cool Starts are what the GM dealers using for their starters too. A friend bought a new Colorado and that's what he got. rlith 07-20-2006, 07:57 AM Not familiar with those myself... I use a Prestiege APS 997 (http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=14996&langId=-1) Been very happy with all the prestiege products I've bought. The 997 though is keyless entry, remote start, alarm though. I have a couple of DEI up/down window modules attached as well so when I arm the system, all 4 windos roll up, and I can hit the option button to roll them down incrementally or all the way down at once. Also allows me to pop my rear window or add another 3 options.. Cost: $110.00 for the APS 997 BlazerLT 07-20-2006, 04:31 PM I will only ever use Avital remote start systems, jsut an amazing setup and great quality. Heck, the batteries in the remote still are good after 3 years. Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
