My Slammed '67 Lowrider *56k warning*dragvw117 07-18-2006, 09:08 PM It's a Beetle. I love it to death. I'm still working on it, bit by bit. It's a DAILY DRIVER, cause it's my only car. It's not fast at all, BTW. 1600, but when the frame has 1/4" ground clearance, who wants to go flying down the roadway? :) No Bags or Switches, Static Drop. Drags it's ass like a DOG. Let me know what you think. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/dragvw117/DSCF0026-1.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/dragvw117/DSCF0040.jpg older pic http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/dragvw117/IMG_1988.jpg Stuck on a Rock http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/dragvw117/IMG_3227.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/dragvw117/Stencil/IMG_3459.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/dragvw117/Stencil/IMG_3460.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/dragvw117/Stencil/IMG_3458.jpg Porsche 356 Tach http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/dragvw117/Stencil/IMG_3454.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/dragvw117/Stencil/IMG_3455.jpg some wicked-ass camber http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/dragvw117/newtires2.jpg RX-7 Steve 07-18-2006, 09:24 PM That's unique. Deecipher 08-15-2006, 07:48 PM ahha got damn take a picture of all the roadkill youve collected over the years too. http://www.deevious.com/smiles/ura1%5B1%5D.gif dragvw117 08-16-2006, 10:07 AM Schister66 08-16-2006, 12:03 PM so is it that low all the time?? How the hell do you go anywhere??? Schister66 08-16-2006, 12:04 PM so is it that low all the time?? How the hell do you go anywhere??? dragvw117 08-18-2006, 03:02 PM It's quite simple. I start the engine with the clutch in. I put the gear selector in 1st, and let out the clutch as I step on the gas. This connects the engine to the transmission, therefore allowing me to put power to the rear wheels. In turn, the car moves forward, or in reverse depending on the gear. Small pebbles may try to stop the car, but the car always tends to crush them immediately to avoid the slightest possible annoyances. Driveways oft times like to catch the car.. and again, are thoughrally raped and put to bed. Deecipher 08-18-2006, 05:17 PM It's quite simple. I start the engine with the clutch in. Hell yes I drive it everyday, and the roads go all kinds of ways around here. Chris V 08-25-2006, 10:19 AM hehehe cool! I know a number of people with cars that are like 3/8ths of an inch off the ground permanently that drive all over. When you have a cheap beater, who cares if the underside gets scraped up? Personally, my permanently low cars have never been less than an inch and a half off the ground, but I'm an old fart and like the added ride quality. ;) http://www.supercars.net/pitlane/pics/626076c.jpg http://www.supercars.net/pitlane/pics/704077a.jpg dragvw117 08-25-2006, 11:09 PM What do you mean BEATER? Jerk. :grinyes: brian88 04-16-2007, 01:56 PM personally i see s-10's and cars lowwered all the time but this is one of those that i really like its uniqe and done very well now its hard to decide my fav. slam job this or the 3500 chevy dually i seen with about the same clearence. alphalanos 04-16-2007, 10:29 PM Theres one like yours in my neigborhood just not that low. The roads around here would not allow that at all lol. But very cool none the less. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
