I need a blower motor for a 1997 grand prix gt does anyone know if other years and models will fit? Thanks jd-autotech 07-18-2006, 01:28 AM buy a new one but make sure its not just a blower motor resistor first. remember you have a used one in there now fastmoney 07-18-2006, 02:17 AM ur right how hard is it to remove its a 3.8 engine i dont know if it makes a difference richtazz 07-18-2006, 06:47 AM 97-99 are interchangeable, as long as both cars have the same HVAC system. If your car has climate control, you can't use one from a manual control and vise versa. If the motor is loud or squeaking, it could be debris. IF you only have certain speeds, it's a resistor(manual controls) or blower module(climate control). The motor is not that hard to do, and while you're in there, put a cabin air filter in from a similar year Regal. Our cars never came with one, but the spot is there for it, and it will prolong the life of your motor. Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
