I have a 1998 gmc yukon with an automatic tranny. Does this have an external transmission cooler. If not can one be installed. thanks. I am thinking about getting one from summit racing.

I think a lot of these trucks had the auxiliary cooler if the tow package was ordered...could be wrong though.

Look through the grille at the front and see if there is a mini-radiator in front of the main radiator. That would be the cooler and I understand that they are relatively easy to install.

Check the RPO label in the glove box...I believe code KNP was for the tranny cooler.
