Can someone tell me what is the purpose of O2 sensor and how it helps the car? Classicrocjunkie 07-16-2006, 10:35 AM Air/ fuel ratios for the car. Other wise you got me... noshun 07-19-2006, 08:57 AM i don't know why either to be honest. 97 2.4. could be a canadian thing as there doesn't evn seem to be a wire/connector for it. and i replaced the motor myself so I would have noticed!
