I have a 93 buick regal custom that doesn't want to start. Fuel presure is fine. New injectors, spark plugs, wires, idle valve. There is NO vacuum to the brake booster. I am thinking that this may be the cause for the no start or some times very very hard to start problem. All hoses look good, can any one think of any thing else that I could check?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Did you check to see if there is any spark? On these engines there are two problems that can cause a failure to start. First, no fuel but you have checked that, the other is no spark. Even though you have new plugs and wires it is possible that you don't have any spark. Check for spark. There are several items that can cause spark failure, crank position sensor, bad ignition module, bad coils, bad cam position sensor (except 3.3). Check for spark and if there is none repost and someone will help you out.

Thanks for your suggestions. I have good spark and the car will start on occasion. When it starts it will not idle but will run good at a higher rpm, something around 10 - 12 thousand. But, I have no vacuum to the brake booster like there is a vacuum leak somewhere but I can't see anything that would cause it. I am checking the other vaccuum outputs today to see if I have any vacuum anywhere else.

Thanks
