Every city has their local "car meetings" every Saturday night including mine. Well, last year we used to meet up at the Service Merchandise parking lot. Finally cops busted it up and we couldn't go back, so we started meeting at the Media Play parking lot this year. Again the cops come up tell us we can't come there any more b/c it is private property and it is after store hours.
Now we are meeting in the Toys R Us parking lot. Two cops usually show up around 11-11:30pm and tell us to leave. A couple of weeks ago, about 4 patrol cars and the 'ole paddy wagon come speeding up like there is some emergency. Everyone is is looking at them and the cops get out of their cars and ask "What is going on around here? We were told that people were fighting and gunshots were fired!" All of this is untrue of course and they break us up and we all leave.
Tonight we are at the same parking lot and it is around 9:30pm, 2 cops pull up and don't say anything to us, they pull in and go straight to talk to the closing manager of Toys R Us, I assume. Well, at exactly 10pm they get on the intercom and tell us that "this parking lot is to no longer be a meeting spot for our vehicles and that we are now considered 'loitering' and to leave." This sucks!
Does anyone else have this problem? This is just getting f**king ridiculous!

It's exactly the same in Chicago, except I actually got busted at one of the hangouts for not having a front plate. The cops blocked us in and gave out some tickets to the few people who got stuck in the lot. I got a $25 ticket from some asshole cop that night.

try going to a local park that doesn't close til like 12 or so.l their should be signs around saying what time it closes at. But if you are there then you won't get in trouble for loitering. try it and see if it works. Just make sure to know what time the park closes and be out of their by then.

If you go to a 24 hour store like 7-11 they cant say anything.

They can still kick you out for loitering or scaring away the customers and make you leave. Unless they are cool with you guys being there but I doubt it.

yeah, we got that problem here in napa. We used to all chill at staples, and about a month ago a cop began posting at the petco across the street and watching us and shit, then 2 weeks later he rolls up and busts out the loudspeaker tellin us if we aint buying nothing we better bounce cause we loitering. Man, why cant they let a bunch of import enthausiasts meet in peace?

Anyhow, now we go to in-n-out but the cops are rolling up there too and its only a matter of time...

That stuff happens practically everywhere cause of the F&F freaking people out about kids racin. Me and soem other kids used to go chill with our cars near a movie theater around here, but we keep gettin busted by this asshole sheriff. Anyone from or around Eastbay, like Walnut Creek, or San Ramon/Danville...?

I dont go out to concord too much. I will be starting DVC, which i think is located in Concord, on the 19th. But i usually just go chill in the movie parking lot on danville, and some random stuff in San Ramon... I really want to get a club of kids to go race or just to show cars. But i dont knwo where to start around here

DVC is over in concord. I commute out to Heald everyday (damn bridge tool) so I am out here usually just for college, but if someone wants to setup something im down. Healds kinda on the outskirts, you take 4 east from 680 and then exit onto port chicago hwy and its out there by the golf course.

I know theres a 7-11 by me thats connected to a strip mall so it has ample room for cars. Is there anything like that where you are?

I'm going to have to look around. My friend is going to be opening a performance shop pretty soon and he said we can all meet up there. Until then, I'm going to try and look around and find some place where we can meet.

I dunno about the 7-11 idea. We tried that one time too and got busted for loitering after about 2 weeks.

Dude that kind of sucks cause now they are watching your house. We all thought about doing shit up at peoples houses but we dont anymore. last week hella people went to some wine bottoling place in the middle of nowhere and we chilled there, not a single car drove by (it was on a court)

for all you guys around walnut creek and fremont and shit. i don't live there but my dad does and i was just thinkin, why not the great mall in milpitas? i know it has plenty of space and cops shouldn't mind. anyways up here we allways meet in a parkin lot by a fishing pier and cops can't kick us out unless stupid people do burnouts or some stupid shit.

Great mall in milpitas? Does anyone go there now, or would we have to bust out advertising and take the leap of faith that people would show up?

like i said i don't live there but i don't think that people go up there. you should just tell people around shops and shit.

I would hell of drive down... or is it up? to concord to see some imports. DVC starts monday for me, and i dont have to pay a toll thank god, but we should get some people together to meet there every (insert day here)night.

What's up fellas, I live in Martinez. I didn't know the Napa In n Out was a hangout on Sat. nights...I may have to check it out. In Concord, the scene has died out AFAIK, most used to meet at the Tower Records parking lot, but the cops usually bust that. I remember about a year or so ago, when it was in its prime, we'd meet there and go off to a deserted road in Port Costa, or by a Costco in Antioch, or by a drive-in theater in Concord...man, those were the days. but like i said, now folks just chill at Tower and usually get booted just for that. I personally haven't been in a while, ever since it died out. I too attend DVC (well, not this semester, LOL), and it appears that all the money these kids save by attending a community college, they spend it on their rides! You will see some nice looking cars in the DVC parking lot, and some striaght rice ones too, heh. Be careful, I know 2 people who have had their cars stolen in broad daylight at DVC.
As far as Milpitas, I used to go to these races there like 2 1/2 years ago. THOSE were races, what got me into this stuff. But there was a big bust down there back in the day with cars being impounded and stuff, kinda squelched it a bit there too. Same thing happened at Marsh Creek Road near Clayton. However, I havent been to Pitas in a while. I'd love to kick it with some of the Bay Area AF Crew, heh. Maybe I shall roll up to Napa some Sat. night... Tough to find a import hangout now, Tower is dominated by domestics now I believe.. Well, that was my beefy first post, LOL! LMK whats up Melt and 2001LX....

Napa in-n-out was dead this friday, cops didnt even show up (when they do show up, they show up, and chill in the back, Usaully dont kick people out)

Im from Ottawa and we got the same problem down here too...
We usually meet up fridays (B&A) around 11:30. Usually we end up following 30-50 cars to a remote location where they race. But last week must of been a sting or someting because there was like 13-15 cops there watching us. Anyways, i only know where the race is on Friday...
Im pretty sure there are some races going down Saturday night too...but i can't figure it out...

DAM, I must be lucky cause over here in Odessa we usually chill at Clements in the La Tienda parking lot and the cops don't usually kick us out till 2:00 a.m. or when they want to. On Sundays they kick us at 10:30 because of curfew for the litte 15 year old girls that try to act like they are 17+ that go out there. But sometimes they usually don't go out there and everyone stays till 5:00 a.m. or we just get tired and leave. But the drag is a different story cause they always kick us out of Taco Villa, Sonic, Peerless Tyre, Walgreens. But most of everyone goes to clements. I'll try and post up some videos

Its funny how a movie can affect a town because ever since that dam F&F came out ricers every where. Its also funny cause we have a performance shop called The Racers Edge, and some guy Richard that owns Excessive Motorsports looks just like Vin Diesel drives a red eclipse with a bid ass wing. I laugh my ass off everytime I see him cause he trys so hard to be like him its funny. then we got all the little wannabes talkin like they know what they are talkin about and you can never get them to shut up. Then we had Race Wars at our local track which was one by our Team Intense Racing RedSuns(There is two teams in Intense , Intense Racing and the racers division RedSuns there is only 7 RedSuns and 30+ in Intense but last Sunday at the meeting they wanted to through out RedSuns and just keep it all Team Intense. Which pissed me off because RedSuns is all about racing, friendship, knowledge of Imports, etc... Oh and the fastest cars are all RedSuns but I still don't know why I'm a RedSun my car is slow but I knew I was in the day they started it I didn't even ask them they asked me to be a RedSun I guess cause I know alot about cars and shit like that, I'm the one always tuning their cars and trying new ways to make it faster. Oh well as long as I'm not experimenting on my car:D)

I'm in Antioch, and we get the same problem. We try gas stations, 7-11's, ANYTHING! Fuckin' cops don't have nothing better to do than hassle us for loitering. They should be out at the bars, following the drunk drivers around and arresting them, cuz they actually hurt people.
