my 1995 chevrolet lumina has finally died on me...ever since i got it it was problem after problem and now my mechanic tells me the engine is dead but everything else is working. any suggestions on scrapping and parts resale? richtazz 07-11-2006, 07:18 PM what is his exact terminal diagnosis? Coolant in the oil washed the bearings, cam broke, head gasket, etc....???? allamericanpos 07-11-2006, 08:17 PM the cylinders cant compress anymore their reccomendation is new engine or new car so i want to sell off the parts on it so i can afford to get a good used one. the tires (7 months) and radiator, cap, and sensor(4 days) are new along with the starter (5 months) im hoping to sell as many of my parts as possible then take the rest up to a junkyard or something tblake 07-12-2006, 12:43 AM strip it and ebay everything, even parts of the motor, heads, lower intake, plenum, camshaft. You name it, it ca and will be sold on ebay. You will be able to turn a pretty penny if you strip and sell everything. allamericanpos 07-12-2006, 08:12 AM i was thinking of that anyway Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
