Is there any advantage using AC Rapid Fire plugs as opposed to the regular stock AC Delco plugs. I remember a tv commercial claiming smoother idle/performance using Rapid Fire plugs...any thoughts?

I personally don't mess around in the igntion components department with these cars. However I know people that use them and have no complaints so.............

mmf. prolly some difference, dunno if its good or bad.. i think its best to use the stockers/proven winners... ive heard the 'bosch +4plats' that cost like 5-6 bucks a pop actually make your engine lose power... so...

whoi knows!

No advantage for the price.. Just buy regullar copper cores. I personally use NGK's Cheap and work very well.

Want to hear something bad about them???

They don't last for the $$.
Get the regular NGK plugs which have been proven to last 1/2 the time, cost 1/3 less, and perform the same.

I stay away from ANY plug with more than one electrode 'arm'

iridiums? they only have one electrode arm.. right? O_O and they claim to last longer... 'hardest material..blah blah harder then plat''

They do last longer.
And yes, they are only orn 'armed' plugs.

But for the price, they don't last long enough.
