hey, this guy is selling is used ground control coilovers for like 180 shipped, he says they have only been used for like two weeks until he got airbags. he says they are in great condition and have everything they come with...should i go for it or is it a bad idea??? help me out, thanks!!!

that's a tough one....any drop in your ride will put additional stress on your struts. So basically, if you lower your car...your struts are going to show premature wear. Simply put...the more you lower your car, the more stress you are going to put on your struts...and they will eventually blow. It might be wise to wait until you have the money to buy struts as well before you do the install. I'm not saying don't buy the coilovers.....it sounds like a good deal. But buy them and put them on the shelf until you can afford...or you are close to affording struts as well. And don't buy shitty aftermarket struts....they will not last as long as you expect...buy some koni's or a comparable brand......just opinions

The eibach pro-kit claims it can be used with stock shocks, so what if you lower it the same as the pro-kit. That would be like 1.8" in the front and 1.3" in the back. You could do this at least until you got better shocks if you wanted to lower it further, right?
