A Question for Buick Experts

I have an 01' Buick Century Limited that came with the analog climate control dual zone; I recently acquired a digital climate control unit from a friend and I thought I could simply swap them but when I removed the panel I saw that the wiring was not compatible :banghead: as the dual analog climate control has three wires sets and the digital only one. Is there any way I can put a digital climate control unit on a Century that came with an analog one and if possible how? Thanks, help is greatly appreciated.:)

I have never heard of anyone doing a successful conversion from a manual HVAC to digital. For one as you can see the wiring is totally different. Additional things to consider is digital requires an ambient temperature sensor, blower motor is different and it uses a blower motor control module instead of a blower motor resistor. However, anything is possible if you put your mind to it, have the time and money. If you ever figure it out and get it working let us know. A lot of people would be interested in this one.

Thanks, I figured it would be "somewhat" difficult but I thought it would good to put to use a good digital climate control unit that otherwise would just be sitting around you know. But can't say I didn't ask!!:grinyes:
