I have a 86 camaro v6. The car will not start. The car has been seating for alittle under 2 months. I checked the battery and its good. Ive also checked the connection on the starter and all the cables and wires seems to be ok. When you try to start it nothing happens, the starter doen't turn, suggestions and help is needed

does it click or anything that would lead you to believe that the starter is actually getting power? It could be a bad starter or a bad starter solenoid, check to make sure there is power to the starter before anything else.

if you think its the starter, jump the starter solenoid.. see if it cranks.

Screwdriver from the battery power post to the s-terminal on the solenoid (has the purple wire from the ignition feed

what he said. haha, and if it still doesnt crank check to make sure you're getting 12+Vs to that wire..if you are, its the starter. if not, somewhere you got a fuse blown or something..
