I have a sound comming I think from the front passenger side. It soundes like metal to plastic, like a large bolt/nut was in my center cap on wheel. It is a loud rattle and is not there only on VERY smooth roads, I pulled the wheel off, grabbed parts and tried to shake them,got under truck and still nothing. Again thie is a VERY loud noise I am having a hard time finding this one...any ideas,

if it sounds like a creaky door when you turn the wheel or go over bumps, it is prob the lowwer ball joint. mine went at 75,000. i also have a rattle noise when i hit a pothole comming from right side. it sounds like the tortion bar is loose but like u, i can't find anything loose???

i had a bad noise comming from my front driver side. i look it all over everything was fine. i took it to a friend on mine and i turned out to be the wheel bearing.

does this only happen at certain speeds? or all the time? my dad has this problem and it was the door molding hardened and was rubbing. very annoying to drive with it like that. while driving have someone open the door a little to see if the noise disappears.

I think it is my rear shock, very bumpy ride, i can grab the shocks and shake them and get some rattling noises. I think they are original , they are starting to
rust. I will replace soon as my kidneys are taking a pounding....:mad:
