You ask a question like that with out giving any information about the car or anything? What engine is in it? What type of injection system is on it? What code is it throwing exactly? These are all very important pieces of information if you want someone to help you.

ok sorry its a 1989 camero rs with a 305 i think its a tpi it was giving me a 13 code so i put a new oxygen senser it and it run perty good for about 30 miles we parked over night and the next mornning it would not run very good it acted like it wasnt getting the right amount of gas and then it showed sevice engine soon so i checked the codes again and it gave me 13 again and yes we cleared the codes after we put the new sencer in im wounderring if theres buy chance we didnt get it tight enough as it requiers a certin amount of tourkand it really gives off a strong smell like its running very richi was going to put a new fuel filter on her but the lines are so rusty i was afraid to try i didnt want to break any lines if i can think of any thing else i will reply later i hope this helps thanks

Take out the new oxygen sensor and look at it, see if it is covered in crap already. Which would indicate that the car is running poorly and is ruining the O2 sensor quickly. Then you can try to find the reason it is running poorly and stop it. Dunno if that helps but that is my recommendation.

leaky injectors? sounds like its not the O2, so it gotta be something else..if its gas related i think the first things that go wrong are injectors and fuel pump..
if its electrical related..try change wires, plugs, dist cap, rotor.. those are cheap and they're regular maintenance stuff anyways..

When was the last tuneup, ie - plugs wires and timing checked?
