My daughter 3.4 95 Firebird recently began running rough like it is skipping but it doesnt' seem to have a "dead skip." In an attempt to diagnose the problem, I found that the the plugs seem to have an overabundance of soot on them indicating a too rich condition. A check of the codes revealed the following.

19 Crank Sensor Fault
33 MAP Sensor or Circ to High
34 MAP Sensor or Circ to Low
42 Electronic Spark Timing Problem
41 No ignition (ix) Reference Pulses
15 Coolent Temp High or Open

These codes were written down for me by someone and I am not sure I read correctly the terms "Circ" or (ix).

By the way, these codes were in history. The engine light only came on once and then just for a few seconds. She just got this car a couple of months back so I don't know when these codes were tripped and whether the previous owner fixed the reason for them or what. I have already changed out the plugs and wires.

Where can I find the information as to what these codes mean? I think I know a couple of them but, I need more guidance. Thanks.

With all those codes I would be looking at the wiring or PCM as a cause rather than all those sensors.
