Tires?legacy 06-30-2006, 08:36 PM I am think of installing new tires for my 2004 legacyL wagon it has 205-65-16 on it now. i like to know if i can replace the tires size of a 225-60-16. thanks freakray 06-30-2006, 08:44 PM The 60 is the wall height of the tire, if you change that you change the outside diameter of the tire. You'll be able to do it but you'll increase the margin of error on the speedometer for a start. legacy 06-30-2006, 08:52 PM thanks for your quick reply freakray:is it possible to change the speed sensor ? freakray 06-30-2006, 08:59 PM You don't want to do that. The misread won't be bad (maybe a few %), it will just show you going slightly faster. If you're not prone to excessive speed, it won't matter. tonyo13502 08-02-2006, 11:07 PM http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp?action=submit try this site it will help you decide what to do thx Tony vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
