Sticking throttle 2001 tahoeraosugrad 06-29-2006, 03:21 PM I have a 2001 tahoe, 5.3L Lately when I accell from idle it is like the gas pedal is stuck, and I have to push hard to get the pedal to accell. I have checked for binding or something wrong in the linkage or wiring and all apperas to be ok. I am not sure of the correct terminology but when I removed the plastic cover over the intake and throttle assembly and pulled on the wires, it almost felt like a magnet was holding it down. Has been problem been reported before?
