New to the site, but problems....

Hey guys, I am new to the site. My Mom has a '93 t-bird, V6, non-S/C. My Dad just picked up a '94, 46L V8 for $100 but with tranny problems.

Anyways, to the point. My Mom hit a curb a few weeks ago in the '93. She somehow messed up the front end on the car, she collided with the driver's side front. The driver's side front wheel is messed up. It got turned out a little (by this I mean the front of the tire points outwards when the steering wheel is straight). The car is tearing up tires right now due to the mis-alignment in the front end. I work at Jiffy Lube and recently was able to pull the car into one of our Bays and walk around underneath the car. I noticed that the Driver's side tire is actually pushed back an inch or two compared to the passenger side tire. I can't tell what is bent. Any ideas on what could possibly be bent? I know this is hard to judge without pictures, but at the way the car is tearing up tires, this problem needs to be fixed. Thank you for any and all help.

tie rods is the word your looking for i believe.

and yea, it could be many things that could be wrong with it. why not take it to a trustworthy mechanic that you know to have him take a look at it?

Money is why we can't really take it somewhere. Currently I am trying to get my '89 Camaro running (needs a new tranny), so funds are going there. But my cousin might be able to check it out, dunno...thanks though

It wasnt tie rod that I was thinking of but that will be bent no matter what I imagine. I was thinking the rod that goes between the loswer control arm and the frame on the back side of the suspension.

You are talking about the lower arm strut. It goes from the lower control arm to the subframe.
