Fuel Pump

Have a 1993 Chevy S-10 Blazer with 4.3L CFMI motor. Turns over but won't start. Pulled plugs and am getting fire. Checked fuel line and was not getting fuel from tank. Dropped tank and replaced fuel pump. 5 Hours and $100 later still not working. Tested old pump and it works. I am looking for the fuel pump relay to try and test fuel pump or any suggestions on what problem might be. Looked in Chilton's and Haynes manuals and both show fuel pump relay to be in "Convenience Center" located under center of dash, but have had no luck finding it - So much for a "Convenience Center". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey check inside the glovebox. I have a 96 s-10 super sport and that is where mine is. I"m trying to find a way to do away with that fuel pump in the gas tank crap. I don't like that at all. You have to buy the whole assembly that goes down in there and can't just replace the pump apparently.
