Most of you might knew that, I went to chicago on sunday june 25, to pick up my new toy eagle talon tsi awd. Every thing went very well , the owner help me put on boost gauge and give me real gready type s bov, that came off his friend 1g dsm ), but few dissapoint, the car have very high idle 2.5k to 3k, after boosting and drive it hard. that morning 1:00 am I cant sleep, and I wake my brother up to go home( alot of rains when im at chicago, I love rains ) , I drove it home it take me 15 hours to get back to where I live ( I WILL NEVER EVER DRIVE CAR LIKE THIS AGAIN ), cause I can only go up to 60mph ( cause if I go over it, it will start idle high and very loud engine noise ). But if I let it cool down, for a while it idle normal 800-1k, can some one please help me out on this, when I full boost 14 psi, I can smell some gas or something that came from my sunroof, runing rich ?

I know I need a gauge pod, the owner say he gonna give me one, but he forget it at wyoming when he back to chicago, so im order one off ebay now.

looks good man. The high idle is likely due to a bad ISC motor. for a cheap fix disconnect the TPS switch and adjust idle via BISS screw, it will throw a code, but eh, no biggie

Regarding the gas smell, that's 100% normal. The factory ECU runs extremely rich something like 9-10:1 so it's supposed to smell like gas.

On another note, DAMN that dsm is a virgin, go mod the shit out of it!

From my engine pix, can you tell me wit one is tbs, and isc located at. how much to buy a new isc ? and how hard to install it ? thanks, by the way what size of pix every one want it at, those pix look small to me.

The pic of the boost guage is like two feet tall by like 3 feet wide, its fucking huge.

lol, if those pics look small to you you must be using a 70" HDTV at like 3423423x23424232 resolution. The TPS is located on the left side underneath the throttle body, look the procedures up on vfaq

one thing I want clear to every one about my idle, my idle stay at 2.5k or some time 2k or even 3k, the rpm not go up and down, it stay their, and when I put gear on when that happent, it grind so bad. That it wont let me put on gear.

to me it sounds like your FIAV(sp)my gst used to do the same thing with the 1g tb untill i blocked off the fiav and rerouted the coolant lines.

Is ISC motor and Idle air control the same ?, I went to autozone and advant auto part, they both dint know what im talking about ( I mention ISC ). They both say Idle air control.
