My fuel gauge just recently started flippin out. It will go back and forth between empty (at which point the low fuel light comes on and dings) and the correct fuel level. Ussually a few minutes between jumps.
It does not effect driving at all, but is real annoying and I am guessing will just get worse.

Can anyone help?

I have never seen this before, but am guessing some kind of a level or slosh sensor?

call Your Dealer And Have them Check For Recalls There Might Be one out On this It Is more than likly a fuel tane sending unit. Give Them YOu VIN number and they can check in a matter of mins.

There is a recall on for your model year Grnd Chrk. They should replace the fuel sender free of cost

Hey "crandalljr", Did you resolve this issue? I am having the same thing happen with my 1997 GCL.

My "check engine" light is also coming on intermittently. I have taken it in and they can't figure out why. The truck drives fine and has done this for quite a while. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
