Any really tall owners?

So next month I will be paying off my daily driver (01 4runner) and I am now looking to buy something fun. I have about $13k to spend on my toy (lower the better, of course), so they are within my price range (I could finance the remaining if necessary or just wait a few months). I am 23, have a secure well paying job and all of that. I am specifically looking at the 98-02 if I decide to go with a camaro

The problem is that I am 6'8", which means most of the fun cars are impossible to fit in. Is anyone else really tall and able to fit in them? I am not against getting racing seats to allow me to get lower and further back. Also, because of this, do any models come with a telescoping wheel?

i have a 94 and i am 6'6 and 1/2. All i do is put the seat all the way back and tilt the seat so that the front is higher than the back.

I'm 6'4 and that's what I do, slide it back and tilt the seat a little. I don't have any problems but I'm shorter than you two.

So how is your head/leg clearance with that? I am about 260, so I have pretty big thighs, so wheel clearance is obviously a concern.

Best way to find out... go sit in one.

I'm 180 so I don't know, I agree to go find a car lot with one and sit in it and see what you think.

if nothing else you can modify the seat rail to slide back even farther... but ive seen some pretty tall guys drive camaros around.

im 6'5 and 250 Lbs like they said all i do is slide the seat all the way back and tilt it a bit...the biggest problem i think is your knees ..most of my height isnt in my knees so thats not a problem...but i just sit in my 3rd gens..i dont know about the 4th gens

3rd gens seem a bit more cramped to me... My friend has a 91 and i wanted to get in, but didnt think i was fit for the task

i dont understand how people that are 6'0-6'3ish think they're tall.... seems average to me.. i see it all the time
