The consitent clicks I fear, are from oil sludge. Can anyone help out?

having researched greatly looking for the "best oil" to use have also noticed articles about sludge. They say NOT to use engine flush products, because they could release to much of the sludge, more than your oil filter could handle. They recommended using a quality detergent oil and to change the oil more often, 1500 miles? doing so would reduce sludge.

If it really is sludge DO NOT USE AN ENGINE FLUSH CHEMICAL! If you really just want to be done with it, get a professional to flush the engine, they have much better and more powerful tools at their disposal. As suggested before, use a high quality oil that will help to reduce the sludge first. After several oil changes if should be alright to use an engine flush chemical.
