how do you take off the window crank i tried pulling but nothing is happening

You need a special tool to knock the retaining clip/spring out. I made a thread about this a short time ago when I was having trouble with my Achieva. The tool slides in behind the window crank and you spink the crank til it catches while your pushing in the clip pops out (its best to keep your eyes glued so you don't lose the clip.
