Any clues on what teh issue is? My van will no longer blow any air, hot, cold, vent, etc. What should I check....in what order?

Does it not blow at all, or only blow from the defroster outlet?

If the fan is not working on any speed, check the fuse.

It does blow from the defrost vents, What is the next step?

Since the blower is operating, the problem is likely with the dampers in the air system. These are operated by vacuum servoes. The vacuum source for this is on the LH side of the intake, and it connects to a hose on the RH side of the engine compartment where it enters the passenger compartment. There is a section of hard nylon tubing in this line routed in front of the throttle body that commonly fails. There is also a vacuum reservoir (sphere) that retains vacuum for the HVAC controls under loads and low engine vacuum. A failure of this plastic ball, the lines to it, and any of the rest of the hose in the system can cause your symptoms.

After reading this post, I went to check my Astro. I can't see the engine at all. What is the best way to install this vacuum line? How is the engine cover removed?

Remove the air cleaner, air intake bellows, MAF and push teh upper radiator hose downward and out of the way of the throttle body. The black hard nylon vacuum line passes directly in front of the TB.

i have a 1997 astro myself and had the same problem it was the small vacum line that comes off the manifold .what happens is the 5-32 line gets hot and breaks.take the dog house off and look on the drivers side of motor you will see it broken in half ,just replace hose
