We got the lamp out indication on the dash. After "massaging" the greatly designed tail lamp and rear turn signal sockets I got the bulbs to work again. However, the lamp out indicator is still lit. All the other lamps work. Do I have to reset the control module or should this turn off on its own?

Thanks
Bill

It will go out on its own. The sensor may be reading a breaking, but not fully broken, lamp element.

I would suggest revisiting all exterior lamps, replacing any that look the least bit suspect ... and lubricate all the lamp bases while you're there.

RE: Lubricating bulb bases. Your local auto parts store should have tubes of dielectric grease.
