my spark plug wires are they right?

i have a camaro 91 v6 ?3.1l? and i dont know if i bought the right spark plugs? they are hi-temp tadio suppression cables. i ohm out the 7mm plug and got 8,000ohms the blugs have not been used much but they bump into other plugs and my car iddls funny and stalls when slowing down.

So you are not sure if you bought the right cables or the right plugs? I am not sure how you can get them wrong, go to a parts store and tell them the car and engine and they should be able to set you up with the right shit.

I believe general rule of thumb is about 1k ohms per foot.

I have found that the guys at the auto parts store are not all that bright(sometimes) and have gotten the frong parts befor.

The only reson i ask is that the book said that u need a spichel wire for a spichel kind of voltige

What book? And if the people you have dealt with at the parts tore are stupid, go to a different parts store...
