my 84 caprice i just picked up on the 13theasterwabbit 06-18-2006, 05:26 PM http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v298/fast68/ pics titles 84caprice001 and 002 all original 99k with 305 and 700r4 and 2.73 it needed one of the thermostat housing bolts drilled out and threaded, and a thermostat and a new radiator i got for only 90 bucks at O Reillys, 3 core one even :D it runs and drives good but i plan on getting a non CC Q jet for it and put a non CC HEI on it too, A.I.R. stuff is gone and the converter is gone too, also plan on getting a 9C1 3.42 axle and driveshaft for it so i can dump the crappy 2.73, it will have different oblt patterns front to back but i dont care in a couple weeks or so after i sell the 78 GP and part out or sell the 85 k-20 project rig i gave 350 for this caprice, have had several others and an impala or two (the white one on there was the last one i had, those are pics of after it was repainted and redone after i sold it, it was blue originally, i have before pics too at http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v298/fast68/mypastvehicles/84impala.jpg thanks easterwabbit 06-18-2006, 05:30 PM oh and i am fastr68 but the site wont send me an email with lost password, it seems to be broken thanks GreyGoose006 06-18-2006, 09:47 PM just a question is your 2.73 rear in good condition? i've been looking for a taller rear end. ive got a 3.08, but i'd like better gas mileage (at 2.85 cheapest, i need all the help i can get) what is the bolt pattern on your 2.73? Id also like to know what kind of rims thoes are silicon212 06-19-2006, 03:22 AM The wheels *kinda* look like 16" Camaro wheels ... The hood is probably custom.
