how to jack up a C4 Vette???DannyC4 06-16-2006, 07:06 PM :shakehead What would be the best/easier way to jack up a C4 Vette with the full Greenwood body kit??? The jack that comes with the car does not fit anymore, the side skirt is too low and it doesnt let the jack in, and the same thing happens with a regular floor jack. I really dont wanna be taking that damned skirt off everytime I wanna work on my car, its a pain. And what if I get a flat on the freeway??? I will definetly have to call a tow truck:nono: :( I really would like to learn a couple tricks from you guys, that suffered the same problem I do, I appreciate it. Thank a lot!!! :) PS: the former owner painted the car white, so theres no more jacking arrows on the sides, as the manual states:screwy: . :( Dyno247365 06-16-2006, 10:27 PM :shakehead What would be the best/easier way to jack up a C4 Vette with the full Greenwood body kit??? I haven't looked under a C4 yet but I bet it's there. This may seem wasteful but how about scissor jacking it first as that will fit and then getting a proper jack under there? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
