I have a 87 Toy 4x4 truck. I'll do the engine work myself but will look at any suggestions on where to buy a complete engine kit.

Thanks

Talk to the machine shop that will be doing the machining and see if they have any recommendations. An experienced engine builder should be able to point you in the right direction for pistons, bearings, camshaft.
I personally like Fel-Pro gaskets and have used them on several motors.
I've had good experiences with Deeves rings.

Once you have decided what you need and want, then look for sources.
