Alright...
My sis just bought a 97 Neon, like mine, but not highline ;) and not black ;) But, she cant pass state inspection without a driver headlight... It seems to be clouded over, which I have noticed happening to aging headlights on Neons all over... I think I read somethin' along the lines of fixing this before on here, but I cannot find it. Can anyone help me out with de-clouding headlights? Thanks tonz peepz!

Hey M Dawg!!!

I'm thinking that since it's like a mild mildew buildup you can use something like CLR or a mildew remover. What are they made out of? Are they plastic or glass? If glass I would definately try clr.. that stuff is really good on mildew. Funny, but I've not had that problem with my 98. My headlights look just like they did when i first bought the car.. i don't know.. is it caused by a leak or something? Hey dude do you have any pics of your ride posted yet? I know you've been working really hard on it....

The yellowing of the headlights is caused by the plastic lense getting constant sun/other element exposure. Try Meguiar's plastic polish, it helps get rid of scratches and ground in crap. I clean my lenses (head and foglites) weekly with 20/20 window cleaner....So I rarely have to use the plastic polish.
