Go for 14k then.
I see some problems with the interior, but other then that. How does it drive? Good?
Did you do a Carfax report just in case?

which problems do you see? please let me know..

this guys lives in AL. and l live in Chicago.. l havent driven the car.. we are just talking on the internet.. this guys sounds so honest to me.. l talk some other people too but they are all BS to me..

this guy says the car has clean carfax. he will give me the vin tonite after he gets back from work.. he says the car has no mechanical issues and drives good and excellent condition, but if l want to he says we can have a mechanic check the car.. and he says that even if the mechanic checks the car, the car will pass the inspection.

l am planning to get a car loan and fly down there, pay him and then drive back to IL.

any other suggestions??

No, seems you have it all covered.
And I see some small things here and there. The leather on the driver's seat looks like it is about to rip on the side. Some scraps here and there, but you should be able to get them out easly.
The engine bay looks really clean for a car from AL.

I live in Columbia IL, it is next to St.Louis MO. I think that is a little high and you can find a ws6 that year or newer for that price with same or little more miles. I would keep looking. find something near you because he will say it drives good but when u get there u never know.

no $15000, he asks $14000... well it seems nobody cares about what kbb says.. everybody has their own price.. there is no trans am with 30k miles for $12000.

l will offer him 13k then and lets see what he is gonna say.. l dont think he would accept that.. well, l have checked many dealer web sites, they are asking 18+k for 30k miles trans am.. WTF?!?!?

so if this guy doesnt accept 13k should l say goodbye to him?

No!!! I think 14k is a great price! 12k on the KBB does not seem right..I have a 2001 Firebird leather seats with 30k miles, premium sound and power everything and the kbb is $13k..I paid 13,500 for my firebird(near mint condition, like i said leather and power everything) with 1 previous owner which was a 30 year old non smoking lady who didnt beat it. I felt like i got a good deal and i fell in love with the car..Look at the pic in my sig! Mint condition. Only negative is no t-tops but i can live with it. If i couldve gotten a transam for $14k i wouldve done it! Cheapest here was 18.5 with 90k miles :\ Jump on that deal!

Still worth it to me anyways. I paid 500 less for mine and its a v6 firebird. Worth it to me. IMO 500 more for a v8 trans am would be a no brainer IMHO

ya i see your point there in your case. i am just saying he can find a better deal than that. i am not telling him what to do just saying he can find a better one. and tmc even tho your firebird is a v6 i have got to say it looks bad ass, looking at it from the front i would not have know it was a v6 unless i saw the firebird lable or the back spoiler. like what you are doing with it.

Thank you :) I cant wait to get the exhaust and then afterwards the intake. Ive taken good care of her..Washing her once a week and am in no rush to wax right now as it shines beautifully especially after i was her. Check out my cardomain for more pics..its in my profile :) You got any pics of yourS?

But i mean if u can find a better deal than go for it but if it was me i would NOT pass up a 2000 T/A with 34k miles for 14k but thats just my :2cents:

Ehhh, it's a regular TA. They usually don't fetch as much as the WS6. You can get one like that for around $13.5K. See if he will go for that.

You do have a great point..I was just saying in my situation it wouldve been worth it. I mean i could see if he was going from a firebird to a TA but a formula to a trans am non ws6 or ram air for 14 grand doesnt seem too worth it. I would say go for it if he will sell for 13k ;)

Is it me or did he paint the trans am logo on the bottom of the car :nono: Also has no passenger airbag, a/c and it has been in a minor accident

The color of the interior is ugly imo and the rip in the leather. The dash is also very weird looking. Under the hood looks very dusty. He couldnt even clean it off for the pics? Id get a carfax first if you are even interested..Other than the terrible interior(IMO) and the painted on logo's(I think the front bird overlay looks painted as well?) It looks great. The outside looks great..If you like the interior then id look into it. WS6 for 9k is a good deal assuming there is no problems with the car and has a clean carfax

yea i was thinking well the outside looks okay...so you got 3k to spend on the interior wich might get you close to finish and you saved some money in the long run. and doodad has a dailey driver so im sure he could park this one to work on it from time to time.

You make a great point. With the money he saved from buying the other car he could do work on the interior. Yeah i mean i have a red car and wouldnt even think of putting red on black interior. Its too busy and i just want 1 solid color in the interior..All black :smokin: It might of looked better if the car was red with the black and red interior but its white. Maybe if he went with white leather and red accents it would look decent but its not. The interior is horrible and will need plenty of work if you dont like it. I say go for that car if it has a clean ass carfax..Like i said it was in a minor acident and lacks some features but your getting a WS6

EDIT: The car has 5 hours left..u dont have much time. Ask some questions and get some info and bid on the car. Its possible to get it cheaper than 9.5k. There is a reserve and im guessing its around 8k..Also no biggie but it does look like the left tail lights seal is gone. It Doesnt shine at all and the right one doesnt like 100% perfect either.

Hey, I got pissed off and took my car off the market after dealing with all the dumbasses that wanted to trade 2003 Toyota Corolla's straight up for my WS6. I also had dingle berries asking me if I really thought my car would pass smog with the LS6 cam.

I have listed things on AutoTrader and Ebay before and it does get annoying to have every single person ask you to dramatically lower your asking price. I don't know about everyone else, but when I ask a price, I sat there and tried to come up with a reasonable asking price and thats what I want. I dont list a car for $2500 when Ill take $1500. And thats a realistic question I had. I was asking like $2600 for a car a while back and some guy asked if Id take $1000. Yea, I listed it for 3 times what I wanted...morons. Not meaning that toward you Erdal, just sometimes people constantly asking questions like that get some people to just stop answereing questions. Try calling him. Talking in person usually shows youre actually serious about buying the car anyway and not just sitting there emailing randomly with no intention of actually buying it.

I suggest not getting the car, youre gona drive who the beep nows where to possibly find something out that he did not tell you or "forgot" to mention or expect you'll over see that problem once youre there. Interior looks fd up and dirty eventhought its charcoal or black not sure, headers are rusty and lower part of the engine bay is dirty, also he live in a state where dirt roads are common so you know the cars got some dirt maybe even mud and water or rust under the chassis which is not gona show on the car.

I haven't looked up the price on www.nada.com (What banks and dealers use btw...NOT Kbb). That's a clean car, but I would never buy a car w/o test driving it and looking at it close up.

If you can get that car for 14k, I'd say its a good deal considering my 01 with 84k according to NADA was worth 13.5k. So what its 1 year older but less then 1/2 the miles my Z28 had. It looks like its pretty well taken care of but do a car fax and make sure that it isn't a car that was damaged during the hurricane/flooding/etc.
