Realistic Rendering.DP_Design 06-14-2006, 01:26 PM Hey guys, i really need your help please. I have seen lots of realistic renders here so i thought this would be the best place to ask for help. Ive always been interested in realistic rendering, and i want to be able to render my own car designs realistically (by hand). I'm thinking graphite pencils to start off with. I really need your help on this, if you know anything about realistic graphite rendering please make a comment :) cheers, Dave. jd_design 06-14-2006, 02:44 PM prismacolored pencils and stonegage paper jd <<Si-Vtec>> 06-15-2006, 05:53 AM ask alex about graphite, i think his drawings will give u the answer coolaircanada 06-16-2006, 08:07 AM I usualy use a 2B lead & marker paper because its so smooth... I would be so greatful if any of you guys have one :) I like to start with the wheels, just to get them out of the way.. For the shading I use my 2B lightly & spread the lead around with a paper tortillon or the other similar tool ( forgot the name..). Repeat this step until the shade is dark enough & gradual... Good luck. Coolair DP_Design 06-17-2006, 10:48 AM Thanks coolair, i'll have to contact alex again and see what he can do :) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
