What kind of problems has it had in the past or before you bought it???

Check your plugs to make sure there firing...
Check to make sure you have fuel going through your lines...

DONT TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP.

why did they replace the computer?

If you keep bringing your car back there just going to find more and more things wrong with it.

This wont help your problem, but I've noticed with my Grand Am that most parts are built to last only a certain amount of time before the whole car implodes.

Try to find an honest independant garage, or shop if you can. I know thats hard to do but it will save you a lot of heart aches and money . Also is the check engine light on? If so get someone to read the codes. These newer cars self diagnose the problem most of the time. Thats about all I can suggest....

I believe the way to fix that is by cleaning a contact in the column. I had the same problem and I just turned up the music and ignored it until it finally fixed it's self for the most part.

As far as the clicking problem, get a hold of your local dealership and have them run your VIN and see if the recall has been fixed on your car. There is a recall on the hazard switch on the Grand Ams.
