hey fellas, havent posted in quite a while. i still recognize some old names among the slew of new ones. anyways, i'm going to be heading to tokyo in a few weeks, and i'll be living there for at least a year. I'm planning on scoping the used and salvaged car scene pretty heavily while i'm there. at least planning on sending myself an sr home,so if anyone has any major purchases in the next few months feel free to hit me up while im there.
peace

you know your allowed to import a car right? THere's a guy here who was just sent over and he bought an r32 gts-t. He's having all the paper work handled as of now. Alot of people do this when in the army. Unless your just going there for a year, i assumed its for military reasons. I would like a s13 silvia trunk lock mechanism if you could get one. I rarely find one here, and there expensive as hell when i do. I dont need the key lol.

howdy fellas.....so ya, japan is fucking crazy in as many ways as you can deem possible. im living in tokyo, been here for about 3 weeks. seen more skylines than i can count. hoping to scope out the salvage scene sometime in august (i get my first paycheck of about 220,000 yen aug 15th). ill buy a digi cam about then and hopefully be able to post way more often with pics and hopefully some prices of shit that i can pick up. im on a hijacked wireless line now, so net access is sketchy at best. hope things are going well in the states...let me know about more stuff that you dudes are looking for and i will seriously try to hook it up in aug, sept.
peace from the east my fellow enthusiaists.

btw....im living about 20 minutes away from the opera tuning garage...which is exactly that, not a lab or a huge facility, but just a garage....pretty cool.

you dont have to look to hard. I mean if you just happen to see it, look into it before you buy(price wise lol). Actually my carbon fiber trunk is finally coming in this week. I dunno if it even has a trunk lock hole lol. Im pretty sure it does, i didnt check though. Oh well if it doesnt i dont mind the shaved look since everything will be shaved anyways. But if it does i want that lock someway or another lol. Looks cleaner to me than a circle with a key hole.
