Window Helpcaszkl 06-08-2006, 10:50 PM My front driver window in my 1998 blazer has come off the door frame, I am trying to fix but my problem is that I can't get the rivets to come off. If any one has clue how to get them off please let me been working at it for 2 days now. Drilling has not worked and I am stuck please help. Thank you OverBoardProject 06-09-2006, 04:53 AM Did you punch out the center stud (or whatever it's called) If you have and they still aren't drilling out their stainless steel, and will never come off with a normal drill bit. I use chisles if possible for such jobs (which I thankfully rarely see) Or you can try 1 of these drill bits http://news.thomasnet.com/fullstory/25064/1106 I've never even seen then so I can't say if they'll work caszkl 06-10-2006, 10:01 PM Yeah no drill bits worked but got them out grinded them off and now I have a window again. Thanks for your help. One more thing though a few weeks ago my heater core went out can any one tell me how hard it is replace on a blazer? Thanks old_master 06-10-2006, 10:10 PM The heater core is time consuming to replace, but not difficult. If you do a search on this forum for "heater core", the replacement procedure will come up. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
