2002 1500 Accessories InopKENKO 06-05-2006, 07:30 PM I HAVE 2 2002 DODGE 1500, BOTH HAVE SAME PROBLEMS. WIPERS, HORN, TAIL LIGHTS HEADLIGHTS, ALL GAUGES, TURN SIGNALS, POWER WINDOWS ARE ALL INOP. ALL HAPPENED AT SAME TIME, HAVE TAKEN TO DEALER WITH NO HELP. THEY SAID FUSE PANEL, I REPLACED STILL SAME PROBLEM. SAID IT WAS BCM, REPLACED STILL SAME PROBLEM. THEY ARE AT THIER WITTS, HAS US VERY BAFFLED ALSO. PLEASE HELP.:banghead: bunyz06rabbitt 06-13-2006, 08:17 AM Kenko, the same thing happened to me in my '03 Ram 1500-hemi qc. What I discovered was that my keychain was essentially turning off everything due to it's weight. The vehicle would start and run but then the keychain was like putting the ignition into a turn off position, like an invisible hand was backing off the ignition if you know what I mean. Slowly turning it counter clockwise. Check that out and see if that's it. Keep us posted and a little hint about going to service. Never ever get emotional and act like a tazmanian devil cartoon character. They don't like that. Unmotivates them, tears 'em down and nobody likes that. And I know how you feel when your machine isn't acting right. Next time, why not bring them a big box of pastries. If you're so weak that your financial situation doesn't allow for it, then a review of your own life is in order, to somehow figure out a way for you to bring about the necessary changes so that you become a financial powerhouse. Money, opportunities and good fortune will always run away from people who are emotionally charged. They will always appear unstable, no matter how big their truck is. imtheoneandonlyD 06-13-2006, 01:10 PM Kenko, the same thing happened to me in my '03 Ram 1500-hemi qc. He wants his truck fixed, not advice from dr phil. Bringing pastries into the service department isnt going to magically allow them to figure out whats going on. If they dont know they dont know. I WORKED AT THAT DEALERSHIP FOR 13 YEARS I KNOW HOW THINGS WORK. I AM GOOD FRIENDS WITH ALL OF THEM. I DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HOW I WAS TREATED JUST THEY COULD NOT FIND PROBLEM. If they dont know they dont know. THANK YOU! I FINALLY FIGURED OUT BY TRACING WIRING DIAGRAMS THAT THE PROBLEM WAS IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. THE CLUSTER ON THIS YEAR MODEL IS THE BCM. IF ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE HAS THIS PROBLEM, THE NEW ONE CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE DEALER WITH CORRECT MILEAGE. HAS TO BE ORDERED WITH CORRECT MILEAGE ON IT THOUGH CAN NOT BE PROGRAMED AFTER IF ARRIVES. IF ANYONE NEEDS ONE I HAVE A GOOD USED ONE THAT THE CUSTOMER WANTED UNTIL I PLUGGED IT IN AND IT HAD 149,000 MILES ON I. OF COURSE WE COULDN'T SEND IT BACK, WHICH IS UNDERSTANDABLE BUT I KNEW THAT WAS THE PROBLEM WHEN IT WENT TO WORK. THANK YOU ALL FOR SUPPORT. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
