will i be ok with just springs?buddylee2004 07-29-2002, 10:54 PM ok I am going to buy just lowering springs not coilovers, and no camber kits. I plan on dropping it 1.5 inches and wandering if i will run into any problems with just that. I have a 98 honda civic. Thanks strodda 07-30-2002, 12:26 AM not really no. you will run a little harder on the insides, so they'll wear out faster, but not a huge amount. the least you should do is go ahead and stick a washer or two on your rears, so at least those will be correct. since with any suspension adjustment, you should get an alignment. luti 07-30-2002, 02:04 AM It's going to be really bouncy on stock shocks... Tominos 08-01-2002, 12:57 PM i'm rolling 1.6 in drop with h n r sports, no problems really, no shocks, camber kit, nothing. my tires wear a little bit faster though. yeah, stock shocks will be bouncy, wish i could afford to get some tokicos right now, but i have to finish my turbo project first. CivicSiRacer 08-02-2002, 08:05 AM Save up for shocks. Don't do a 1/2 job, do it right the first time and you will not regret it. Aftermarket springs will blow your stock shocks within a couple of months. NuEra 08-16-2002, 11:10 AM Tominos, do you have a pic of your car with the drop? WonderinAbout 08-17-2002, 01:24 PM Even with the Eibach ProKit you need to by performance shocks? I have heard that since its not an agressive drop they will be fine by themselves. I bought them but havent put them on yet. They will lower my car 1.4"/1.3" and I have heard that I will have no problems. If this is true then thats what he can do is it not? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
