Hey i was wondering the specs on a 1984 prelude engine. I was also wondering how good it would do if droped into a 1991 Accord. I'll be happy for any info. Dont know exactly what model the 84 lude is but all info on any model is good. Thanx!

it is illegal in most states if not all to drop an older engine in a car. the engine has to be the same year or newer.

i think it has to do with the pollution . Each car has a certain level of Emmissions is puts out the tail pipe , and when the inspector punches in that cars Vin number , it tells him the legal limit of pullution for that car in that year .

Well if you toss in a older motor , its levels of pullutions are higher . :rolleyes:

man im in oklahoma too...and its not illegal. but i dont know why the hell you would wanna put an 84 prelude engine in an accord. that will be the slowest accord on the face of the planet. i know the b20 engines that came in the 3rd gen were shit...so im guessing things only got worse the farther back you go. those 84 preludes were small weak cars. I WOULDNT DO IT.
