Murciélago only 2nd place now ?Chris.Weiss 07-29-2002, 03:59 PM Hello! In the last month i very often read articles about the Murcielago beeing - at least at the moment- "the best and fastest" car on the streets! But today i just read about the new Ferrari Enzo Ferrari - obviously having plenty advantages in comparison to the murcielago! Have you seen any other tests comparing those cars ? But i have to say, even if the new ferrari is some kind of faster or better the murcielago is much more "price worth": ferrari enzo ferrari: about 630.000 Euros (btw: to my mind very ugly, but ok, probably just technical very perfect) murcielago: abot 230.000 Euros ... regards Chris Baron 07-30-2002, 01:47 AM In 10 years time, the Lambo will probably be worth not very much but you will make money on the Enzo. That is almost a certainty based on the current market value of cars like the Ferrari 288GTO and F50 (not the F40 since Ferrari made too many, around 1300). Those cars are actually worth more currently than their original value. And you cannot buy a brand Enzo even if you win the lottery. Buying the Ferrari Enzo is like investing in a piece of property. Over the course of the Lambo's production cycle, there will probably be about 4000 cars (400 cars/year for about 10 years). Read about the Lamborghini Murcielago and see 27 hi-res pictures of the car here: http://news.kak.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=102 You can also read about the Lamborghini-history here: http://news.kak.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=103 Blade 09-20-2002, 11:41 AM THe Mclaren F1 is the fastest production car legal for street use. 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, 0-100 in 6 seconds, 230 mph+ Top speed. Recent comparison between the Mclaren F1 and the Ferrari Enzo from European CAR Magazine claims the Mclaren F1 is still the fastest road production car on this planet. Also, what makes it remarkable is the Mclaren F1 is designed in 1994, which makes it a 8 year old technology. Wrong, it was the fastest production car, now though it is no longer in production it doesn't hold that crown anymore. More info could be found on http://www.mclarencars.com I guess u didnt hear about the Bugatti Veyron 16/4. The F1 Mclearn is slow compared to this Bugatti. It runs to 60 in 3sec flat and to 186mph in 14sec and it has a top speed of 250+ with AWD and quad turbo pushing 1000HP. Check it out http://wwwstud.fh-zwickau.de/~ao/bugatti_16_4_veyron/bugatti_16_4_veyron.htm enjoy :D Baron 09-22-2002, 12:09 PM In that article, it states that production time is: "2001". In a few more months it will be 2003 and no car produced yet. Will the car really see production if it does go into production, will the Veyron be capable of those numbers? I doubt it.
