Hey, i have a bone stock '85 civic with a broken camshaft, i have another stock motor to put in it, but i know they only make ~70 horsepower. Is there a cheap motor swap that i could perform? (i'm talking $300-550) Or should i just shove the stock motor back in? Any help is much abliged.

the most common cheap swap is a jdm d15b vtec longblock from hmotorsonline.com for $430
comes with 130hp and then you can turbo it for less than $500, and have around 200whp

Thanks guys, i'll look into all those suggestions, i fugured there had to be something i could do cheaply. 70 HP is a bit of a change from my 335 Horse 350 chevy truck. What is the approx mileage on each of those motors? If its around 20-25 it sounds good.
