I do not wish to pirate at this time, however I do not know what Initial D is either. Anyone want to actually answer that question?

Initial D is a Japanese anime cartoon series, originally comic books I believe(haven't read any). A few years ago, they made a TV series, the First Stage. Later, they made a Second Stage, and a 3rd stage movie. Also they made an extra stage, and a battle stage, which was just all of the races, with none of the story line.

The series centres around young Takumi Fujiwara, who is the son of a Tofu shop owner. He has been delivering tofu since the age of 13, up and down Akinas mountain pass. He started trying to get home faster, and learned how to drift in this manner. He has a lot of talent, and became highly skilled at downhill racing. The delivery car is a Toyota Trueno GT APEX hatchback, and he is eventually dragged into a race with a twin turbo RX7 FD, which he already passed coming back from delivery. Naturally, he blows the guys doors off, and goes on to become a famous downhill racer...

It's a great series, although it's really hard to find all the episodes on Kazaa. If anyone needs to download some, I can put them up on Kazaa.

also this kid Takumi gets challenges from other out-of-towners who cannot believe a 10yr old car & a teen driver can compete. so more various cars appear giving it a good flavor of entertainment. the ppl & background are traditionally cel animated (hand drawn), but the cars are CG style (computer grafx).

BTW, the english dubbed version for US dvd/vhs is being released next week, check local stores for better updates.

i gotta do the shameless plug for www.imesh.com to use for DLing shows. i just like it better; but www.kazaa.com is good.
