Darn it ... I should have patented it!JekylandHyde 05-24-2006, 02:50 PM I was just talking to a co-worker about roller skating and I as reflecting on a roller skate "mod" I did back in ... 1983 or so. My youthful (5th/6th grade) desire to be creative and cool, I had taped a single AA battery under each of my skates. I scavanged two little light bulbs from my HO-train set houses and taped them to the skates. When the skating rink turned the lights down for slow songs, I would tape the ends of the wires to the bulbs to each end of the skates and I would have a little light under thereas I skated around. The other kids made fun of me, until they saw it ... and then they all wanted to know how to do it! Little did I know at that time, I invented the under body glow kit!
