So, the town car is nice and all, but its just pretty damn slow, and something i cant live with is the minor front end damang. So i was thinking of getting a little LS1 to play around with, swap engine stuff out, mabey new exhaust, sterio, yall know, just mess around with it.
But i dont have much money, ill have to save up for some months
But in the mean time do yall know any cars, that will be cheap, relitivly easy to work with, has alot of after-market parts, and isn't a completely ugly car?

What kind? Why dont you just save up more money and keep the Towncar until you get the LS1.

Honda Civic... LOL... but seriously... what about an LT1? They're cheaper than an LS1...

Miata? depends on your definition of ugly...but their cheap as hell, easy and simple to work with, with an aftermarket

outside of that, mabe a Cavalier... cheap, relatively simple car...and I think theres some kind of aftermarket...Jayson??

keep the towncar... you'll regret loosing it.

get a 80's camaro if you want something cheap and easy to work with or an 80's mustang (foxbody) you can (on a good hunt) find em for about 500 bucks with good body and no motor, or like 1,250 for one with a motor.

Ya, my town car is cool, but if im going to keep it i HAVE to get a front clip for it, i cant live with it the way it is right now.

My homie said that the LT1 is pretty much shit, and suggested i got with a 84 Camero

I would have to agree with those who said LT1 or foxbody. The foxbodies can be found cheap and made fast easy if you are on somewhat of a budget.

Red: It seems to bother you so often when people miss-spell Camaro. Why not put it under the SR rules or in your sig. Then follow up with a warning for first offense and 2nd offense is a vacation :nono: .

fox body 'simply fast' is what it is and a nice big engine bay so you dont have to tear open your knuckles like most cars.

^^^ That right there is why i dont want to make a ricer

And as of now the "Camaro" is spelled "Carmero" ok.. get it right from now on.

But are yall sure that the LT1's are good quality? and not just shit?

It doesn't bother me much, it's such an easy name to remember how to spell. Ca-mar-o. To me if you try to say Camaro with an E (ie. camero) in it you sound like a Special Olympics canidate.

All I'm saying.

i would have to say foxbody mustang, early 90's or late 80's would be ideal. best bang for buck. easy to work on,

from what ive heard, the ls1 and lt1 are not easy to work on. i to have heard that the lt1 isnt the most reliable. For gods sake, please stay away from a 305 camaro, the 305 is a peice.

I say something light. If you can't afford to put much power under the hood, make the hood smaller.. Either an old sub-ton Civic/CRX with a swap and a turbo, or a Foxbody would be my vote.

You would be better off getting a V6 Firebird... they are at least respectable.

87-93 are better... the 95 is much heavier. plus the 87-93 look meaner

Yeah, but thinking to be safe I should pull a couple plug wires.

Maybe switch to a automatic tranny... and give it only 3rd gear... so, you can't take off too fast, or break any speed limits.

Oh yeah!!!!

That should work perfect.
